Barry was one of the kindest guys that I have ever met. We had a blast! I have never in my life seen a man that loved his daughter the way that he did ... she was his whole world. He was my best friend and I will always love him and have a place in my heart for him

i have been sitting here reading what everyone has written and everyone has the same thing to say ,and i know that they are telling the truth because i saw it for myself. i ahve known barry for about ten years. i loved barry like one of my own brothers. he was always telling me some crazy stuff and i quote "you gotta here this crazy s##t man" i knew to get ready because it was going to be crazy.i have never had anyone make me laugh so hard in my life!! he could take the most serious thing and find humor in it. i also never realized how many times i say "ya know what i mean" until now that he is gone. i can hear him now.barry was one of the most real people that i have ever known in my life that is because he was always the same with everyone.if you met him you could not help yourself but to love him! i work at the elementary school where carlye went to school and we new every morning he was coming in with her and every evening he would get here a little early to pick carlye up. we teased him that we were making him and honorary lunch lady!!i cant say what he said about that hahaha anyway i think i could go on for ever and barry liked to tease me about how much i liked to talk, not that he had any room to to talk!! hahaha anyway i just want to say that i will never ever forget him he was my true friend a wonderful daddy and i will miss him until the day i die!!!!!

I can count on one hand how many friends that i've had for 21 years I met Barry in 7th grade at Era we become friends I met back up with him after i graduated in 93 and we become very very good friends since then Barry was one of my best friends he was allways there for me I could tell a hundred stories about Barry but what I remember the most is the most recent and that's going camping at soldier creek and fishing at hodebecks creek and he caught a gar and starting screaming there was probably 10 people fishing along the creek and Barry saying " I got a marlin I got a marlin" I laughed until I couldn't laught no more Barry was part of my family he knew my kids and allways treated them like they were his own. Barry gave my oldest son a 308 military rifle that rifle will be put above the fireplace and never touched again. I loved Barry like a brother and my wife Traci my sons Cody and Chase and my daughter Hailey will miss him forever.

I can count on one hand how many true friends that I've had over the last 21 years I met Barry in 7th grade at Era school we got back into contact in 93 after we graduated and he has been one of my best friends since he was always there for me would help me do anything I ever asked him to I have soooo many memories about Barry I can't list them all from going camping to fishing to just sitting back and watching him pass out on my couch I love Barry he was one of my best friends and anyone that really knew Barry knew that. I don't feel like I lost a friend I feel like I lost a brother Because he was like a brother . Barry has allways been part of my 3 kids lives he would even come to their football games. I loved barry and I will miss him until I see him again on the other side. Also Barry was the best dad that i'd ever seen he put Carlye before anything and I'm gonna make it my goal in life to make sure she knows how much her daddy loved her. Barry had alot of friends but I feel like I was one that he could allways come to. I hope they find out the truth so we can all have some type of closure. Barry was one of a kind I will never have another friend like him.
