I posted a comment not long after this site was up. Since then I have come back often to look at pictures, read updates ect ect. It amazes me how much time has actually past since our Edison days... our New Faith Days.. our young and what seemed care free days. David.. I can remember so many things you and I and Barry and my sister Carol and brother Greg did together growing up either in school or church. Its such a heart wrenching thing to know that Barry's life was taken so shortly. You guys have been on our minds and I pray daily that God helps ease the pain that I cant even begin to imagine you and your family have been going thru. Reading the bio you posted about Barry.. I found myself smiling with tears flowing, because word for word is how I remember Barry, from childhood to adult hood. You guys were both great people and Im so glad I can look back on my childhood and know you and your family were apart of it. Please know we are here for anything you need. I truely miss Barry, but he will live forever in our hearts and thru his family and we have the happiness of knowing we all will meet again...

Barry Pruitt Tough as Nails.Kind as an Angel. The most honest bloke I ever met Barry inspired me the quality of his work was second to none, he always said"Hey buddy if your gunna do it do it right".He could never stay after work because he picked Carlye from school so he would invite me to his house and we would have a beer.watching him as dad amazed me he never raised his voice to Carlye, I never seen such a patient man. We talked a lot about Australia he wanted his children to see it, he said he wanted his kids to see life.about 6 weeks ago we talked about importing cars to Australia and fishing lures back He said he needed to make some money lots of colege bills comming up, with a laugh. He never wanted for himself only for his kids. He was a proud man, on a hand shake I told him "Mate them kids will see australia " >Thats a promise I plan to keep. I miss you mate and I pray justice will be done and the wrath of God will be served...Amen.

I only knew Barry for a little while, but as only knowing someone for what seems to be just a momment I can in fact tell you that Carlye was his pride and joy and he lived every day of his life for her. Barry guided me in several ways and always checked on me reagardless of anything. I remember like it was just yesterday about us talking about his "Custom Bike" and always waiting for the famous "Ya Know." Barry will always be in our hearts forever. I wish all Gods Grace and Strength to be with his family and pray that his memory lives on forever because we all know his legacy will.

You always had a smile on your face and you always made me smile. You would talk to me about your 2 little sweethearts (Courtney and Carlye), they were your legacy that you left behind, you always told me how much you loved them and the mistakes you made that you wished you could take back. You did what you thought at the time was the best thing for them. I listened to you for hours and I will miss that forever!! Love ya Barry!!!!! Our hearts go out to the family for Barry and pray as time goes by it will help you to realize how wonderful it was to have had him in your lives!!!!!
